In Sanlúcar de Barrameda is the Doñana National Reserve, a spot of natural beauty that brings together plant species and endangered animals. In this same area are the famous horse races on the Sanlúcar beach, considered a magnificent sporting event and the oldest in Spain, as well as the Manzanilla Fair, the intenseness of the Guadalquivir River, Semana Santa, etc.
Not very far from Sanlúcar de Barrameda can one visit the city of Cádiz: the Old Cathedral or the gothic-style Parish Church of Santa Cruz with stuccoed ceilings and the New Cathedral from the XVIII-XIX centuries that includes Baroque and Neoclassic styles along with the famous West Tower are must do visits in this capital.
In Cádiz it is also possible to visit the Museum of the Courts of Cádiz, commemorative of the anniversary of 1812, and the Cádiz Museum that has an archaeological section and one of the most fascinating galleries, with paintings from the XVI to XIX centuries, plus where one can contemplate works by Zubarán, Murillo up to contemporary Miró.
