Acueducto de Segovia
The Aqueduct of Segovia. This architectural work raised by the Romans in the second half of the first century AC or the beginnings of the second century, possibly during the ruling of the Emperor Claudio in Segovia in order to supply drinkable water to the city from the Frío riverbed, located some 18 km. It is the best conserved Roman aqueduct.

The location of the Segovia Castle over a rock carved out by the Eresma and Clamores Rivers, indicates the military origin of this fortress that was impregnable throughout many centuries. The most ancient testimony of the Castle's existence is a document from the beginning of the XII century, dated in 1122, a little after the Reconquest of the city by Alfonso VI, which mentions the fortress as a hill-fort over the Eresma.

Catedral de Segovia
Labelled the "Lady of the Cathedrals" the Cathedral of Segovia was built between 1525 and 1577, to replace the Romanesque temple partially destroyed in village wars. Next to the New Cathedral of Salamanca, it is the last Gothic sample of Spanish architecture.

San Ildefonso Farm. Its name comes from a former farm that the Hieronymite monks had in the monastery. Felipe V retired here in 1724 and during the following twenty years grew the gardens and the palace was used as a summer dwelling for all of his successors up to Alfonso XIII.
